Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Systems Engineering Department Manager 3 to lead a department in Roy, UT or Manhattan Beach, CA. You will set objectives, mentor section managers, and ensure cross-program support for Sentinel/GBSD, ICBM Sustainment, and Advanced Programs.

You will oversee planning, risk, schedule, technical quality, and talent development while coordinating with senior program leaders to maintain health and performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience or Masters with 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access.
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance within last 6 years.
• Experience with requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool.
• Experience in model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool.
• Experience in Model Based System Engineering with DODAF and SysML.

Responsabilités

• Lead a department within the Systems Engineering organization and mentor Section Managers.
• Oversee planning, risk, project performance, schedule, and technical quality for multiple programs.
• Assist engineers and staff in talent development and process improvements.
• Coordinate with program managers to maintain health and performance across programs.
• Recruiting, staffing, and retaining engineering talent for program success.
