Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 in Roy, UT. You will serve as CAM for SEIT, manage a large IMS, and oversee EVMS processes while coordinating with leadership and the business management office.

The role balances functional leadership (up to 10 engineers) with hands-on systems engineering, requiring a Secret clearance and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related technical experience.
• Master’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• At least 1 year experience of CAM and EVM.
• 2 years Systems Engineering and/or Integration & Test experience.
• US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
• Experience generating cost estimates, BOE documentation, or ROM development.

Responsibilities

• Perform as CAM for the SEIT organization scope and manage IMS and multiple control accounts.
• Ensure EVMS compliance and liaison between team, leadership, and business management office.
• Lead a small team on special engineering initiatives as needed.
• Balance functional oversight with technical program work (about 20/80).
