Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 for the TACAMO program located in Roy, UT. You will lead day-to-day program execution, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance while engaging with customers and subcontractors.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, a STEM degree (or higher) and substantial MBSE/NH&S experience. A relocation package may be available, and a standard 9/80 schedule is described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
• Nuclear Hardness & Survivability (NH&S) Experience or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience, preferably both.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program budgets and schedules.
• Direct and control program activities across multiple functions and suppliers.
• Overseeing subcontractor activities with Global Supply Chain Management for hardware integration.
• Ensure adherence to contract scope and manage changes during execution.
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop further opportunities.
• Maintain regular customer interactions to assess program execution.
• Provide leadership and direction to the program team to achieve goals.
• Conduct risk and opportunity management including mitigation and realization.
