Job summary

The Islamic Society of Baltimore is seeking a Golden Age Program Coordinator to plan, implement, and oversee programs and services for the Golden Age Village. You will coordinate daily operations, manage calendars, recruit volunteers, and liaise with staff, participants and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Gerontology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in program coordination or nonprofit operations.
• Experience with grant management and budgeting.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools (Zoom/Teams).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program operations and update transportation lists.
• Develop and distribute monthly schedules and event calendars.
• Recruit, train and engage volunteers for GAV activities.
• Manage grant reporting and budgets; ensure compliance and records.
• Represent GAV at conferences, outreach initiatives and partnerships.
• Maintain communications via email, flyers and social media platforms.
