Job summary

Rhode Island College is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to design, develop, maintain, and integrate applications supporting campus operations. The role includes programming, system analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and providing technical guidance to campus stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of programming experience with strong SQL/PL-SQL, relational databases, and other languages.

Qualifications

• Four years of programming experience; strong SQL/PL-SQL, relational databases, and multiple languages.
• Experience with SaaS applications, Oracle PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems, iPaaS, and MS SQL/Oracle databases preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; analytical and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements with user departments.
• Prepare feasibility studies of new systems.
• Develop program specifications and system procedures.
• Evaluate application software to support administrative systems.
• Develop and maintain application development documents.
