Job summary

Providence College is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, develop, and maintain data-level integrations and ETL processes between Banner and related enterprise applications. The role involves writing queries, reports, and code to extend system functionality, plus testing and user documentation.

You will develop technical specifications, configure applications, and establish interfaces and IT infrastructure requirements, while providing user support and on-call assistance.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in systems analysis and applications design and development.
• Experience developing and maintaining software, reports, implementing and supporting third party applications, and data transformation.
• Experience working collaboratively with users and co-workers.
• Ability to provide project leadership.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and make sound decisions within guidelines.
• Ability to read, interpret, explain, and apply technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to set priorities and organize work to complete project responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-level integrations and ETL processes between Banner and related enterprise applications; develop queries and reports; write code to extend system functionality; conduct testing and develop user docs.
• Develop technical specs and design criteria; configure applications; develop prototypes; write code; design interfaces and IT infrastructure requirements.
• Provide application development and user support; troubleshoot issues; on-call support for assigned areas.
• Define scope and deliverables for development projects; translate business processes into applications.
• Provide project leadership; coordinate tasks; train end users; coordinate with consultants.
• Support software enhancements and upgrades as part of the team.
