Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of geographical locations of VADOC facilities and local & regional jails.
• Proficiency in MS Office and VACORIS; strong data entry and clerical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the Virginia CORIS database pertinent to prisoner movement and transportation.
• Assist in coordination and transportation of inmates to institutions, programs and local jails.
• Assist in determining bed space availability for scheduling inmate transfers and ensure priority transfers are made in a timely fashion.
