Job summary

Dept of Corr - Central Admin in DOC Headquarters is seeking a Program Support Tech Sr: Offender Management Services to coordinate placement and monitor Local Jail Contract Work Release Program beds for male and female inmates.

You will serve as a liaison with Local and Regional Jail facilities and the VADOC Facilities, and you will enter data into the VACORIS database related to inmate movement and transportation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate skills using MS Office and other automated systems.
• Ability to work independently, with effective oral, written and verbal communication.
• VADOC knowledge and familiarity with Facilities, State & Local Jails.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement and monitor Local Jail Contract Work Release Program beds for both male and female inmates within the state correctional system.
• Serve as a liaison with Local and Regional Jail facilities and the VADOC Facilities.
• Enter data into the VACORIS data base pertinent to inmate movement and transportation.
