Job summary

Global Refuge in Baltimore is seeking a Senior Program Officer for Community Partnerships to lead the Community Partnership team. You will oversee onboarding of new affiliate staff, provide expert training and coordinate TA efforts for the RIS division, and represent the organization in external meetings.

The role demands strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with travel up to 10%. A commitment to diverse staff and Lutheran heritage values are noted in the mission.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, non-profit management or related field.
• Experience in a local or national resettlement office; preferred programs.
• Experience with refugees, immigrants or LEP individuals.
• Strong networking, relationship management and outreach skills.
• Experience with contract/compliance and delivering training/technical assistance.
• Ability to write/edit proposals with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and adapt to organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to the Community Partnership team.
• Conduct informational sessions to recruit and support affiliates.
• Engage local/state actors to establish a new resettlement office.
• Ensure onboarding and training of new resettlement partners.
• Provide TA and support new site development; review proposals.
• Maintain affiliate contact information and up-to-date systems.
• Coordinate network-wide training initiatives across units.
• Manage in-person training events for directors and staff.
• Oversee external spaces on the extranet and LMS.
• Create, update, and disseminate programmatic materials.
• Collaborate with PIR teams to support partners.
• Ensure PIR program compliance and represent Global Refuge externally.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
