Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Virtual Care Programs to lead the day-to-day operations and cross-functional execution of our virtual care portfolio. You will partner with internal stakeholders, strategic vendors, and healthcare providers to ensure successful implementation and sustained performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; advanced degree (MBA, MPH) is preferred.
• Requires at least 5 years of experience in product management, program development, program management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting or managing virtual care, digital health, healthcare navigation, or other vendor-enabled healthcare programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional programs, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, stakeholder communications, and operational readiness.
• Experience managing external vendors, strategic partners, or third-party providers, including deliverables, performance, service levels, escalations, and ongoing governance (strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate program performance and member insights into executive-ready materials (preferred).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills with ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization (preferred).
