Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, program development, or related field.
• Experience supporting virtual care, digital health, or vendor-enabled healthcare programs.
• Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional programs with milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and governance.
• Experience managing external vendors, strategic partners, or third-party providers.
• Strong analytical skills translating performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across Blue Shield’s virtual care portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional program execution across Product Strategy, Clinical, Operations, Digital, IT, Compliance, Sales, Customer Experience, Analytics, and strategic vendor partners.
• Develop and maintain program plans, launch timelines, implementation milestones, vendor deliverables, dependencies, issue logs, decision trackers, and executive status updates.
• Support virtual care program launches by coordinating benefit and eligibility readiness, digital experiences, operational workflows, customer support models, and go-to-market activities.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to monitor utilization, access, appointment availability, member satisfaction, clinical quality, cost performance, service levels, and remediation plans.
• Support vendor governance through quarterly business reviews, contract deliverable tracking, performance reviews, escalation management, and resolution of risks and cross-functional barriers.
• Develop executive-ready portfolio updates, performance dashboards, launch summaries, risk assessments, decision briefs, and roadmap recommendations informed by member needs, market trends, and program performance
