Job summary

Early Warning Services is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the PMO across complex programs, aligning multiple projects to strategic goals in a regulatory environment. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and cross-functional leadership in a hybrid Chicago-based setting.

Responsibilities include prioritizing portfolios, coordinating interdependencies, and driving process improvements while mentoring the PMO team and supporting audits and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management and/or Computer Science or related field.
• PMP certification or related certifications or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 or more years of related experience in program management.
• Experience in financial institutions or regulated industries and/or software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Understands portfolio priorities and drives outcomes within the program and aligned projects.
• Manage multiple interrelated projects to support strategic objectives.
• Align plans and interdependencies to ensure roadmap success and resources capacity.
• Perform governance reviews to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks and resolve issues across the program.
• Establish best practices, templates, and tools to improve effectiveness.
• Coach and mentor other PMO team members on policies and procedures.
• Support audits of projects within the program.
• Coordinate cross-project interdependencies and milestones for visibility.
• Provide leadership to stakeholders to deliver cost, schedule, and quality results.
• Create and maintain the master program plan with status reporting to executives.
