Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) seeks an experienced Social Services Program Manager to lead complex service programs, develop budgets, and ensure grant compliance across multiple sites in Los Angeles County.

You will coach staff, coordinate with funders, and sustain high-quality client services while managing budgets and reporting. Strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of HMIS are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or combination of relevant education and experience (4 years).
• 5 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct Staff Management Experience in working with homeless or vulnerable populations.
• Experience with budgeting, expenditure management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop program policies, procedure plans, and communications documents.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
• Coordinate budgets and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise program staff and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
