Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Program Manager IV to lead multiple complex service programs, ensuring quality service delivery and KPI achievement. You will oversee budgets, coordinate with subcontractors and community partners, and mentor program staff to meet grant requirements.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, fiscal stewardship, and compliance within VOALA’s mission to support vulnerable populations in the LA area.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance/background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related discipline (or combination of education and experience).
• 5 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision.
• Minimum of 4 years direct staff management experience with homeless or vulnerable populations.
• 1 year supervising Case Managers; Budget and expenditure management experience.
• Experience with HMIS and data reporting; compliance with funder requirements.
• Experience managing programs with 40+ staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop program budgets and manage multiple service programs.
• Develop policies and communication documents for programs.
• Train, coach, and supervise program staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure quality and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate with funders and community partners for resources.
