Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking an experienced program manager to oversee multiple service programs, ensuring effective service delivery and alignment with grant requirements. The role involves developing policies, managing budgets, and coordinating with funders and partners.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Social Work (or related field), 5+ years in program management, and strong leadership skills to supervise staff across locations in the LA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision.
• Experience supervising Case Managers and managing programs with 40+ staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop program policies, procedure plans, and communications documents.
• Budget and expenditure management; plan resources to meet grant objectives.
• Train, coach, and supervise program staff and ensure documentation.
