Job summary

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead large-scale programs across cloud migration, enterprise architecture, and software development. You will direct project staff, oversee quality assurance, and serve as the primary customer interface, requiring exceptional communication and leadership.

You will apply SAFe and LeSS practices, govern risks, manage budgets and schedules, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in Project Management or Program Management.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and internal controls.
• Strong planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP certification preferred; SPC/SAFe Agilist preferred.
• Experience supporting federal government programs or contractual governance activities preferred.
• Experience leading audits, assessments, and corrective action programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage programs and continuous improvement initiatives across service areas.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain compliance frameworks, processes, and controls.
• Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and remediation activities.
• Proactively monitor performance of programs to ensure adherence to standards and governance requirements.
• Identify, communicate, mitigate, and manage program risks.
• Manage resources and projects to cost, schedule, scope, and performance objectives.
• Prepare and deliver inputs for contractual and operational deliverables.
• Provide quality assurance oversight for program deliverables and contractual requirements.
• Apply SAFe principles to support program planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop process improvements and governance standards.
• Support clients in implementing operational improvements and adopting new technologies.
• Facilitate audits, assessments, corrective action plans, and continuous process improvement.
