Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Products to translate customer needs and architectures into executable programs. You will lead across Product Development & Assurance, establishing scope, plans, baselines, risks, and make/buy decisions to align with the company roadmap.

You will collaborate with Product, Technical Architects, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Supply Chain to drive program formation from pre-contract through execution, delivering proposals and successful

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, program management, operations management, or a related field.
Master's degree with 8–12 years of related experience is preferred.
PhD with 5–8 years of related experience in program management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Own the program execution approach from solution architecture through proposal, contract award, and transition to execution.
Develop integrated scope, requirements, cost, schedule, staffing, risk, and resources plans.
Translate solution architectures into development plans, work packages, milestones, and schedules.
Evaluate opportunities to reuse products and identify where new capabilities are needed.
Provide program content for proposals, including SOWs, schedules, costs, and risks.
Coordinate with Contracts to ensure scope and commitments align with the execution baseline.
Ensure awarded programs transition with clear SOW, baselines, budget, and risk register.
