Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Senior Program Manager, Products to transform customer needs into executable programs. You will lead program formation from pre‑contract solution development through proposal, contract definitization, and transition to execution, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.

You will translate solution architectures into development plans, manage cost and schedule baselines, and identify reusable capabilities to inform the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field with 12–15 years PM experience, or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• Proven experience establishing and managing scope, requirements, cost, schedule, risk, and execution baselines for complex technical programs.
• Proficiency in supporting programs from pre‑contract or proposal development through contract award and execution.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, finance, contracts, supply chain, and customers to deliver integrated program plans.

Responsibilities

• Own development of program execution approach from initial solution to transition.
• Develop integrated scope, cost, schedule, staffing, risk plans.
• Translate architectures into development plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Identify reusable capabilities and inform roadmap decisions.
• Provide SOWs, schedules, cost estimates, risks, and execution approaches for proposals.
• Coordinate with Contracts to align scope and commitments with baseline.
• Coordinate Make/Buy trades and establish supplier baselines.
• Ensure transitions include a solid program management plan and baselines.
• Maintain alignment across product, engineering, and execution teams.
• Resolve risks before they impact execution.
• Serve as central program integration point across teams.
