Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles seeks a Program Manager II to lead a large program or multiple concurrent programs. The role centers on supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating services to meet grant objectives.

You will oversee case managers, ensure proper documentation, and train teams on program requirements while collaborating with community partners to maximize impact at the Los Angeles site.

Qualifications

• Must pass a fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Experience in Social Services program management or supervision.
• Budget development and resource allocation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program development and budgets in accordance with grant requirements.
• Supervise program operations and staff, including case managers and coordinators.
• Coordinate services across multiple programs and partners on-site.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all client intake and case management activities.
• Plan and conduct staff training on program requirements and tools.
• Communicate progress and funder updates to leadership and partners.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and budget adherence.
