Job summary

VOALA is seeking a seasoned Programs Manager to lead social services initiatives across multiple sites in the Los Angeles area. The role requires directing program development, budgeting, and service delivery in line with grant requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Social Work (or related field) with 5+ years in program management and at least 4 years of direct staff supervision, plus strong collaboration skills with community partners. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• 5 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination or Supervision.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct staff management experience in working with homeless or vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop program policies, procedure plans, and associated communications documents.
• Train, coach, and supervise Program Services staff and document case conferences and intake notes.
• Visit and manage multiple teams of staff located at various work sites to ensure service quality.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures; ensure grant objectives and timelines are met.
• Collaborate with community partners and VOALA programs to coordinate services for participants.
