Job summary

Jobot in Birmingham, AL seeks a senior Program Manager to own program P&L, design teams, and drive strategic decisions across large, high‑value projects. You will build relationships at the C‑suite, lead scheduling and cost controls, and mentor a team while ensuring standards and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across field and office environments to keep programs on schedule, on budget, and aligned with client expectations, enabling rapid decision making and scalable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with accountability for programs >$100M in revenue.
• Demonstrated C-suite client relationships and ability to drive strategic decisions.
• Proven ability to build, restructure, and right-size a program team.
• Proven ability to take direct control of a program in jeopardy and restore stability.
• Strong presentation skills with Executive Leadership; ability to defend Business Case Reviews.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; strong financial acumen and margin accountability.
• Advanced scheduling skills across MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet; Excel expertise.
• Proficiency in Office suite and Bluebeam; capable contract strategy leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own program P&L with explicit margin accountability across assigned programs.
• Design and restructure program teams to meet operational needs.
• Develop and maintain C-suite level client relationships.
• Contribute to strategic pipeline decisions based on capacity and margin potential.
• Take direct control of programs in jeopardy and drive to stable operation.
• Refine program-wide standards for scheduling, financial reporting, procurement, and comms.
• Present and defend Business Case Reviews to Executive Leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program Managers.
• Champion safety and quality culture across programs.
• Represent programs in senior enterprise forums and drive continuous improvement.
