Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) is building an internal advanced manufacturing capability focusing on rapid, high-quality fabrication and assembly to support Amazon's hardware innovations.

AMS is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing and assembly operations in the greater Seattle area, establishing processes and partnerships for on-time, quality production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning end-to-end program strategy, delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program planning and execution for manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, facilities, and design engineering to align dependencies and readiness.
• Develop and manage production schedules and capacity plans to meet product development timelines.
• Create and maintain manufacturing readiness criteria, launch checklists, and go/no-go gate mechanisms for production milestones.
• Establish program metrics and reporting for leadership visibility into health and progress.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor engagements for outsourced services, tooling, and equipment installation; manage statements of work and timelines.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and standard work to improve efficiency and quality on the shop floor.
• Partner with leadership to develop transition plans for large-scale facilities, staffing models, and launch playbooks.
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership with clear narratives.
