Job summary

Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the initial planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing and assembly operations in the greater Seattle area. You’ll stand up processes, build partnerships, and ensure on-time delivery with quality.

You’ll drive scheduling, capacity planning, and readiness criteria while working with engineering, quality, supply chain, facilities, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program planning and execution for AMS manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, facilities, and design engineering.
• Develop and manage production schedules and capacity plans to meet timelines.
• Create manufacturing readiness criteria, launch checklists, and go/no-go gates.
• Establish program metrics and reporting for leadership visibility into operational health.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor engagements for outsourced services and equipment installation.
• Drive process improvements and standard work; support quality system compliance.
• Partner with leadership to develop transition plans for large-scale facilities.
• Communicate program status and risks to senior leadership with data-backed recommendations.
• Capture learnings and feed back into engineering requirements and documentation.
