Job summary

Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Tech to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MES stack powering Amazon’s first advanced manufacturing facility.

You’ll drive this highly automated operation, coordinating robotics, automation, and data platforms across shop floor and enterprise systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for team products.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.
• Experience with MES, shop floor scheduling, or production control software.
• Experience managing technical products or online services in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the 2–3 year product roadmap for the MES stack from scheduling UX to AI-powered optimization.
• Define the product vision connecting AI-native scheduling intelligence to the shop floor experience.
• Write narratives (PR/FAQs, 6-pagers, OP docs) to secure leadership investment.
• Partner with scheduling engineers to translate floor needs into product requirements.
• Define machine-to-cloud data contracts for each equipment class.
• Define and execute AI-driven manufacturing intelligence strategy (predictive maintenance, quality inspection).
• Oversee quality and compliance tooling, including ISO 9001:2015 alignment.
