Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with complex technical requirements. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects to ensure program success while coordinating across disciplines such as planning, design management, procurement, and risk management.

You will develop program management plans, lead teams across multiple locations, and ensure contract compliance and sound financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field.
• Experience leading large infrastructure programs and strong leadership skills.
• Familiarity with alternative delivery models (P3, DBFOM, EPC).
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects to ensure success.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Identify risks and issues; provide problem-solving and risk mitigation guidance.
• Develop and implement program management plans and tools to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Direct services by large program teams or lead a mega-project; ensure communication within the team.
• Ensure contract compliance and monitor financial performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field
