Job summary

Amazon’s Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Selection team seeks a Sr. PM to drive location-specific selection frameworks and automation.

You will partner with Category, Product, Tech, and BI teams to deliver scalable tools and model-based decisions that balance customer needs with regional demand and efficiency. You will operate across banners and regions, translating data into actionable improvements, while communicating results to senior leadership and maintaining a customer-obsessed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience in process improvement, business analysis, or program management.
• Experience with selection strategy, category management, or space planning.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Proven track record designing and implementing process automation solutions using AI/ML tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with significant business impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistency in how assortment decisions are made across banners and regions, owning work with tech partners to ensure our methodology for coverage, duplication and substitution logic, and optimization is uniform and anchored to consistent selection quality metrics across banners.
• Enable automation and efficiency by partnering with tech teams to develop shared tooling and selection models that eliminate duplicative manual work across multiple orgs, utilizing AI where possible.
• Maintain customer obsession through standardized, mission-based selection logic that ensures every banner carries the right products for the right missions, localized to customer demand and regional preferences.
• Create SOP and mechanisms to track, manage, and optimize regional-specific selection.
• Partner with Category, Product, Tech, and BI teams to implement and enhance selection strategy tools.
• Track, optimize, and report to senior leadership on selection workflow improvements and automation.
