Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Central Selection team seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead selection analysis, banner assortment strategy, and governance across banners.

You will drive end-to-end initiatives spanning strategy, planning, and optimization with cross-functional partners. You will translate merchandising problems into structured programs, leverage data, and guide leadership with clear results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Data-driven approach using metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy end-to-end and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience with selection strategy, category management, or space planning.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Microsoft Access or SQL.
• 5+ years in business roles involving data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail; ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) with business and technical teams.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about customer behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute location and format-driven selection strategies using competitor benchmarking, capacity inputs, sales analysis, and market data to inform market-specific selection across banners, both online and physical stores.
• Drive automation and leverage AI Tools to simplify processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate program updates with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership reviews.
