Amazon.com Services LLC in New York seeks a Senior Program Manager for Central Selection (Tools) in WWGS to own the strategy and framework for automated, location-aware selection decisions across banners. You will work with Category, Product, Tech, and BI teams to deliver tooling, drive improvements, and present recommendations to senior leadership.

The role requires a strong business sense, technical understanding, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience in process improvement, business analysis, or program management.
• Experience with selection strategy, category management, or space planning.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Proven track record designing and implementing process automation solutions using AI/ML tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with significant business impact.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Drive consistency in how assortment decisions are made across banners and regions, owning work with tech partners to ensure our methodology for coverage, duplication and substitution logic, and optimization is uniform and anchored to consistent selection quality metrics across banners.
• Enable automation and efficiency by partnering with tech teams to develop shared tooling and selection models that eliminate duplicative manual work across multiple orgs, utilizing AI where possible.
• Maintain customer obsession through standardized, mission-based selection logic that ensures every banner carries the right products for the right missions, localized to customer demand and regional preferences.
• Create SOP and mechanisms to track, manage, and optimize regional-specific selection.
• Partner with Category, Product, Tech, and BI teams to implement and enhance selection strategy tools.
• Track, optimize, and report to senior leadership on selection workflow improvements and automation.
