Qualifications

• Masters degree in Engineering with emphasis on Manufacturing Technology or Mechanical Engineering or related field, or an equivalent degree with 10 years experience.
• Bachelors degree with 15 years experience in related field if Masters not present.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining industries with increasing responsibilities, supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects and portfolios across multi-organizational teams, and with DoD.
• Strong leadership, detail orientation, and excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and willingness to travel.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes for defense-related components, additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program leadership for selected programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and oversee project SOW, cost proposals, and timelines.
• Identify project teams and supervise the project staff.
• Ensure projects meet objectives and report monthly to stakeholders.
• Interface with customers and manage information exchange.
• Contribute input to NCDMM strategic planning and identify new program opportunities.
• Supervise team members and support annual performance reviews.
• Preferred experience in hypersonic technologies.
