National Center for Defense Manufacturing (NCDMM) in Youngstown, OH, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead customer project initiatives, ensuring objectives are delivered on time and within budget. The role focuses on coordinating a variety of programs with DoD involvement and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will manage scoping, cost proposals, timelines, and team assignments, serving as the primary interface with customers and DoD representatives.

Qualifications

Masters’ degree in Engineering with emphasis on Manufacturing Technology and/or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of experience.
In lieu of a Masters, a Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience.
Experience in the manufacturing and machining industry with increasing responsibility.
Experience managing projects or portfolios with multi-organizational teams.
Experience with the Department of Defense.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Willing to travel.
Experience developing manufacturing processes for defense components; additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide overall program leadership for selected programs.
Review project input for completeness and develop SOW, cost proposals, and timelines.
Identify and oversee project team; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Interface with customers and DoD representatives; report monthly.
Identify new sources for program management opportunities.
Supervise team members and support annual reviews.
Coordinate alliances with partners.
