Job summary

National Center for Defense Manufacturing in Johnstown, PA, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead customer projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating multi-team efforts in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage DoD initiatives, develop SOWs, proposals, timelines, supervise staff, and report monthly. Travel may be required and there are opportunities to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering with manufacturing emphasis or related field and 10 years experience.
• In lieu of a Master's, a Bachelor's with 15 years of experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining industries with supervisory roles.
• Experience managing multiple programs and cross-organizational teams.
• Experience with Department of Defense programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and travel willingness.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes for defense components; additive manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for selected programs and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Review inputs, develop and oversee SOW, cost proposal, and timeline generation.
• Identify project team and oversee performance.
• Ensure projects meet objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Identify alliance partner involvement and coordinate monthly reporting.
• Serve as primary customer interface and manage communications.
• Contribute to strategic planning and identify new program opportunities.
• Supervise team members and support annual reviews.
• Preferred experience in hypersonic technologies.
