Job summary

National Center for Defense Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Huntsville, AL, to lead customer projects from inception to successful delivery. You will oversee SOW creation, cost proposals, timelines, and multi-organizational teams while maintaining strong customer communications and program reporting.

The role emphasizes DoD project experience, leadership, and a focus on manufacturing processes and advanced manufacturing methods, with travel as needed and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Master's in Engineering with Manufacturing/Mechanical emphasis or related degree and 10 years of experience.
• In lieu of a Masters, a related Bachelor's with 15 years of experience is acceptable.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining, with supervisory roles and multi-team projects.
• DoD program experience and leadership skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall program leadership for chosen projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and oversee SOW, cost proposals and project timelines; assign and supervise team members.
• Act as primary customer interface, manage communications and report status monthly to stakeholders.
• Identify new program opportunities and support annual business growth efforts.
