Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Program Manager II to oversee the integration and management of complex projects and major systems within the MST business area. You will manage budgets of $20M+ and lead proposal tasks from customer interaction through contract award, coordinating with multiple facilities and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive PM experience in A&D, and the ability to navigate government contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry.
• 3+ years leading medium scale projects with 5+ cross-functional team members.
• Experience with government contracts, RFPs/quotes, and proposal processes.
• Experience managing a complex project or larger program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program cost, schedule, technical, and risk.
• Represent SNC at customer meetings and be the primary point of contact for the customer.
• Ensure responsiveness to customer actions and inquiries as a top priority.
• Coordinate with contracts representatives on government requirements and program execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams located at various facilities to resource the program.
• Analyze program metrics and brief status on cost, schedule, technical, and risk to executives.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Chief Engineer to maintain the Product Line road map.
• Support growth of Product Line and Business Unit business base.
