Job summary

Saab AB in East Syracuse, NY seeks a driven Lead Project Manager to support the Ground & Air Segment of Saab's Surveillance U.S. division. You will assist program managers to deliver programs on time, coordinating inputs from engineering, supply chain, and finance.

Key duties include managing administrative tasks, coordinating CDRLs, tracking actions, and maintaining IMS schedules. Relocation assistance is provided, and travel 10–25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in project management or related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience facilitating meetings and tracking action items.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and JIRA/CRM tools.
• Ability to improve administrative workflows and program rhythms.
• Willingness to travel 10–25%.

Responsibilities

• Performing administrative activities such as travel requests, expense reports, and meeting requests.
• Assisting with programmatic CDRL deliverables.
• Coordinating inputs to update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Identifying process efficiencies in program operating rhythms.
• Coordinating and maintaining internal and external business rhythms.
• Facilitating agendas, meeting minutes, and action items; tracking to closure.
• Tracking customer requests and inputting data into databases (JIRA, CRM).
• Engaging with Program Managers and customers.
