Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a driven Lead Project Manager in East Syracuse, NY to assist program managers in executing Ground & Air Segment initiatives. The role includes coordinating inputs across functions, managing IMS updates, and driving process improvements. A relocation package is available.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in PM-related roles, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, JIRA/CRM. Some travel is expected (10-25%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in project management, program coordination, or related roles.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience facilitating meetings, preparing agendas/minutes, and tracking items to closure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with Program Managers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with JIRA/CRM.
• Ability to identify process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Manage administrative and program support activities, including travel and customer requests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track commitments and multiple requests.
• Some travel required (10-25%).

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks such as travel and expense reports.
• Assist with programmatic CDRL deliverables.
• Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance to IMS updates.
• Identify process efficiencies in program rhythms.
• Coordinate and maintain internal/external business rhythms.
• Facilitate agendas, minutes, and action items; track to closure.
• Manage customer requests and input into databases (JIRA, CRM).
• Engage with Program Managers and customers.
