Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Program Manager in Tucson to oversee and coordinate program activities, serving as primary customer contact and providing regular updates to management on status and outlook.

You will coordinate staff, manage WBS, and lead multi-functional teams to ensure cost, schedule, and technical metrics align with contract plans. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of government contracting or R&D experience.
• Program Manager/Control Account Manager experience in design/build contracts with WBS, scheduling, financial analysis, and resource management.
• Experience in Proposal Management including planning and cost estimation.
• Experience managing large, complex DoD/DoE projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate program plans from contracts, SOWs, and customer intent; build WBS and plan staff within budget.
• Execute multiple complex programs to track cost, schedule and technical metrics.
• Lead proposal development, capture, and gated delivery processes.
• Identify and resolve internal and external conflicts related to execution assumptions and prioritization.
• Create and manage subcontractor statements of work and track performance.
• Lead multi-functional teams and provide regular briefs to leadership.
• Foster collaborative environment with clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Monitor progress, anticipate risks, and initiate corrective actions.
• Mentor team members and identify growth opportunities within programs.
• Support Leonardo Growth Strategies and program opportunities.
