Job summary

Leonardo Electronics US Inc is seeking a Senior Schedule Planner in Tucson, AZ to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules and support program decision-making. You will coordinate with PMs, engineering, finance, and leadership to ensure cohesive plans and drive on-time delivery.

The role requires strong scheduling software skills, stakeholder management, and in-person collaboration on a project team. DoD project experience and laser systems knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Advanced Proficiency of various scheduling software including MS Project.
• Proficiency of various software including MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex schedule information into clear recommendations.
• Experience integrating schedule, risk and cost information within a project controls environment.
• Be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills with a proactive delivery-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program schedules.
• Build Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) reflecting scope, sequence, dependencies, durations, and resource constraints.
• Ensure schedules align with program objectives, milestones, workflows, and standards.
• Update schedules regularly based on progress or change requests.
• Coordinate inputs from PMs, engineering, supply chain, finance, and leadership to integrate plans.
• Perform critical path analysis to identify schedule drivers and issues.
• Assess schedule health using metrics like float and baseline variance.
• Track execution against the baseline and provide updates and what-if analyses.
• Provide forecasting and simulations across programs and develop recovery plans.
