Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
• 5 years' experience in production and manufacturing related programs supporting the SOF GLSS IDIQ
• Onsite working at Engineering Center of Excellence or Bluegrass Station in Lexington, KY
• Knowledge of IWTAs on the SOF GLSS IDIQ
• Cost account management and earned value management experience
• 3+ years' Experience managing project schedules and leading teams to complete manufacturing and production efforts against a deadline
• Demonstrated program performance and program management experience
• Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management process
• Experience in process improvement
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills
• Ability to interact with senior executives in development of long-term strategies
• Experience working with a cross-functional team to solve complex problems/challenges, and meet program commitments
• Demonstrated success in an environment that is fast paced, demanding, and requires independent thinking, problem resolution, and action with minimal direct oversight by senior management
• Strategic thinker and communicator/ability to support program execution strategies.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Negotiates contract and contract changes.
• Coordinates preparation of proposals, business plans, and specifications.
• Acts as primary customer contact and leads program review sessions on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as resource allocation or changing contractual specifications.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
