Job summary

Lockheed Martin in New Jersey is seeking an experienced program leader to direct all phases of complex defense programs, coordinating recruitment, training, cost, schedule and technical performance, and contract management.

You will serve as primary customer contact, manage proposals and plans, establish milestones, and lead cross-functional teams across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
• Excellent organization and communication skills with analytical ability to develop and deliver concise presentations
• Ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships
• Results oriented with an ability to deliver

• Familiarity with Risk & Opportunity Management process
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
• Coordinates recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, and work assignments
• Manages cost, schedule and technical performance of programs or subsystems
• Negotiates contracts and changes; prepares proposals and budgets
• Acts as primary customer contact and leads program review sessions
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans
• Directs cross-functional teams including technical, manufacturing and administrative areas
