Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced program leader to direct all phases of major programs from inception through completion. You will coordinate recruitment, training, performance, and resource allocation, while managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.

You will interact with customers, prepare proposals, and establish milestones to keep programs on track. The role requires 12+ years in aerospace/defense, strong systems engineering skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in design, development or integration of aerospace/defense systems.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and risk management experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessment of staff.
• Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of programs or subsystems.
• Prepare proposals and budgets; serve as primary customer contact for program reviews.
• Set milestones and allocate resources to meet master plans.
