Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a seasoned Program Manager in Marietta, GA, to lead programs from inception through completion with focus on cost, schedule and technical performance. You will be the primary customer contact, directing cross-functional teams and coordinating proposals, budgets, and engineering efforts.

The role requires strong business acumen, CAM/EVMS RBAs experience, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong business acumen.
• Program management experience on programs > $25M with >$10M annual sales.
• Proven ability to deliver on P&L commitments.
• Experience managing cross-functional and decentralized teams.
• CAM/EVMS/RBAs knowledge.
• Experience with training device development programs.
• Understanding of PM and Enterprise Performance Excellence policies.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Oversees cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems.
• Negotiates contracts and contract changes and coordinates proposals and budgets.
• Acts as primary customer contact, leading program review sessions on cost, schedule and performance.
• Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for development and test.
• Develops new business or expands product line with the customer.
• Monitors milestones, schedules, and resource allocations; resolves program issues.
• Directs work of program staff across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
