Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Manager III to supervise a large, multi-function program and coordinate staff, subcontractors, and partners to achieve contract goals. The role emphasizes budget oversight and service quality for participants.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work (or related field) and significant experience in managing homeless services programs, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related discipline (or 4 years equivalent).
• 5 years of experience in Social Services Program Management or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years direct staff management in homeless services or DMC programs.
• Budget management/oversight experience.
• Experience with HMIS and partner databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage program budgets and service delivery per grant requirements.
• Develop program policies, procedures, and communications documents.
• Proactively manage scope changes and contingencies.
• Create best practices and tools for program execution and management.
• Coach and supervise project staff to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with VOALA programs and community partners.
