Job summary

Accenture Construct in the United States is seeking an experienced project leader to manage university-scale programs from preconstruction through closeout. You will direct scope, budget, and schedule while guiding design firms, contractors, and internal teams to meet objectives.

The role emphasizes risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational leadership across complex data center, grid, and infrastructure programs. A strong PM background and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture and/or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience overseeing higher education institution programs/projects.
• 10+ years in preconstruction, construction and closeout with strong problem solving.
• Ability to work in physically demanding site environments and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day contract administration, ensure compliance with terms, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and manage project budgets; review proposals, change orders, and progress payments.
• Establish and maintain project schedules with milestones and critical path tasks.
• Coordinate with design firms, consultants, and contractors across phases.
• Communicate updates to clients and internal teams; prepare progress and risk reports.
• Develop and implement PM policies, procedures, and workflows for efficiency.
• Perform ongoing risk analysis and mitigation planning across cost, schedule, quality.
• Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to project staff.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, final payments, and records submission.
