Job summary

RTX Corporation in Simpsonville, SC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead multiple programs across development, production, and sustainment. This onsite role requires balancing customer commitments with technical requirements and business priorities while guiding IP teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

You will own program budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, and interface with customers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

Requires university degree and 5–8 years of program management or leadership experience leading development, production or sustainment programs.
Experience managing program cost, schedule and technical performance with established PM tools.
PMP certification or equivalent PM credential; knowledge of FAR and government contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple programs through full lifecycle: development, production, and sustainment.
Own program execution and financial performance, including budgets and cost control.
Lead IPTs across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts and Quality to coordinate activities.
Serve as primary customer interface; manage communications and requirements.
Establish and monitor plans, milestones, and performance metrics; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members and influence decisions across functions.
