Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead multiple programs from development to sustainment. You will balance commitments, drive cost, schedule and technical performance, and serve as the main customer contact while guiding IPTs across engineering, operations, and finance.

This onsite role, based in Simpsonville, SC, requires strong leadership and FAR experience. You will oversee budgets, risks, and performance, contribute to proposals and negotiations, and

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Experience leading development, production, and sustainment programs.
• Experience managing program cost, schedule, and technical performance using PM tools.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Operations.
• Excellent communication with customers and senior leadership.
• Knowledge of government contracting and FAR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs through full lifecycle, balancing priorities, commitments and schedules.
• Own program execution and financial performance including budgets and LOP.
• Lead IPTs across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts and Quality.
• Serve as primary customer interface, addressing requirements and action items.
• Establish and monitor program plans, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Manage resources to meet cost, schedule and delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present program updates, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
• Support proposals, business planning, and contract negotiations.
• Provide guidance to program team members and influence decisions.
