Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned Material Program Manager for a Tucson, AZ program, onsite at RTX facilities. The role oversees materials management, cost/schedule/quality, and supplier performance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Material Program Management within defense/aerospace, with SAP/PRISM knowledge, ERP experience, and strong budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Material Program Management within defense/aerospace.
• Proficient with SAP ERP and PRISM knowledge.
• Familiar with EAC, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong supplier management and contracting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support MPM leads with monthly material forecasting via ROMS and MFT.
• Act as or support CAM to manage material budgets and EAC for the program.
• Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Plan and execute sourcing decisions; support Make/Buy/Where.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align material availability with milestones.
• Drive Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order processes.
• Participate in program reviews and change boards (CN/ECP).
• Mitigate risks in supplier performance and lead times.
• Support proposal activities for material cost and lead time.
