Job summary

Moog is seeking a Staff Program Manager for its Military OEM Group in the East Aurora/Buffalo area. This on-site role leads a major production program exceeding $100 million in annual revenue, reporting to the Business Unit General Manager.

You will coordinate across functions, manage budgets and schedules, and drive performance with customers and internal teams. Required: BS in science and 10+ years in program management, plus 5+ years PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of professional work experience, preferably in program management/engineering.
• Five or more years of program management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, organize, and influence cross-functional teams through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and communicating budgets, plans, and schedules for multiple initiatives.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements and scope adherence; ability to manage under pressure with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Optimize program success through strong collaboration with stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and manage all program activities.
• Achieve program objectives by applying program management principles within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage cost and schedule to meet development objectives and monitor progress.
• Develop and manage program plans with detailed schedules and ensure cross-functional coordination.
• Communicate with customers and Moog teams to resolve issues and drive recovery actions.
• Support process improvements and expansion of Moog’s business through proposals and campaigns.
• Travel approximately 15% to Moog facilities and customer sites.
