The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, driving NPI efforts, and aligning technical solutions with business roadmaps while balancing cost, schedule, and quality.

Qualifications

• U.S. DoD Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing with full lifecycle development.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of the program, ensuring development programs are well-positioned for execution.
• Provide technical direction to customers amid ambiguous requirements/change management.
• Ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, priorities, and roadmaps.
• Prioritize cross-functional collaboration to meet division and site goals, coordinating with NPI efforts.
• Deliver on technical, scope, budget, and schedule commitments to customers.
• Reduce potential for product quality issues.
• Support the proposals process, including cost estimates and writing the technical volume.
• Establish relationships with customers built on trust and technical competence.
• Provide technical perspective on business decisions with long-term impact.
• Influence profitability initiatives across the group.
