Job summary

RTX, in Marlborough, MA, seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead the Precision Landing program portfolio within Collins Aerospace Mission Systems. You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical execution, directing a team of ~35 matrixed members and driving profitability.

Applicants must have 8+ years in aerospace/defense program leadership, a relevant Bachelor's (or advanced degree), and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the military or aerospace/defense industry.
• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance-
• Demonstrated experience managing full lifecycle programs from capture through closeout.
• Ability to establish and sustain positive customer relationships.
• Proficiency with program management tools and processes including EVMS, IMP/IMS, and risk/opportunity management.
• Experience managing multiple contract types (CPIF, CPFF, FFP, DCS, FMS).
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle program management—from pursuit and capture through development, production, delivery, sustainment, and long-term strategic planning.
• Chair the cross-functional Program Management Team (PMT) and ensure effective contract management across cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer interface, addressing needs, resolving concerns, and driving upgrades and ECPs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely technical execution across this system-of-systems portfolio.
