American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a seasoned Team Leader to run the program team, own the plan and budget for each assigned program, and be the client’s daily contact for delivery. From kickoff through onsite execution and close, you’ll shepherd flagship conferences, coordinate planning cadences, and ensure data integrity within Cvent and Smartsheet.

You’ll lead registration, housing, attendee communications, supplier management, and on-site execution, while driving timelines,

Qualificações

• Eight or more years delivering large corporate meetings and events.
• Experience on a dedicated account team, ideally as its lead.
• Ownership of multimillion dollar program budgets and forecasts.
• Delivery of large conferences with thousands of attendees.
• Advanced Cvent proficiency and familiarity with client-owned instances.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet for program planning and tracking.
• Executive presence to run planning meetings and present hard updates.
• People leadership, setting expectations and guiding teams.
• Strong written communication for reports and logs.
• CMP or CMM preferred; hotel/DMO or production partner background.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the dedicated account program team across roles and responsibilities.
• Own delivery from planning kickoff through onsite execution and close.
• Serve as the client's primary delivery contact and manage cadences.
• Own program budgets from estimates to final reconciliation and reporting.
• Maintain master timelines in Smartsheet and enforce dates.
• Oversee registration, housing, and attendee communications in Cvent.
• Lead supplier and venue management across hotels and partners.
• Lead onsite delivery with staffing, run of show, and issue escalation.
• Maintain program documentation: planning files and decision logs.
• Collaborate with Head of Event Operations on scope and resourcing.
